How long have you been at SPENGA?
I have been WERKing out at SPENGA for 2.5 years and loved it so much, I auditioned and became an instructor and have been teaching sessions for over 2 years.

Favorite part of working at SPENGA?
I love our members and the relationships I’ve been fortunate enough to build with them, and our
staff. The environment is incredibly positive and we all challenge each other to be better people.
 
Some people ask me “why are you always so peppy?” Easy. SPENGA is my happy place. :) It is also a huge bonus that I get to workout whenever I want.

What made you get involved in fitness or instructing?
Fitness has been a major part of my life since I can remember. I grew up playing soccer, and even played in college. I loved it so much, I earned my Bachelors degree in Kinesiology (Study of the Body). Everything about fitness excites me. I loved the idea of being part of other peoples’ fitness journeys and getting to share my knowledge of what I love to do. When I found SPENGA, I knew it was where I wanted to be.

Favorite modality and why?

(Spin, strength or yoga, or both, or all)!  I love all three, but my love love love is strength.

Fave pump up music or song?
If you’ve taken several sessions of mine, you know music is what excites me. I love member requests for special milestones because I know it’s what will get them pumped up.

Personally, MY favorite to workout to is easily 90s and 2000s hip hop. ;) a good beat drop gets me going.

My guilty pleasures?
Nothing better than a warm cinnamon roll or red wine.

Where can I be found after a workout?
I have a husband, Tyler, and two boys (my turkeys), Beckett (5) and Lincoln (3). We love being outdoors, specifically Kings Island in the summer, or at the pool with our family and friends. I love game night- euchre… really any card game, or other fun games like taboo, catch phrase, etc. We get a little competitive in our house. :)

  • 45-minute circuit-style STRENGTH only session. A great supplement to our signature SPENGA session.
