Why have you made SPENGA apart of your daily routine?

 

Not only is it rewarding, but it’s FUN. You get to see friends, bond with instructors that truly care about your journey, and push yourself. It’s an hour of sweat, good vibes and great music. 

 

What has changed most after you joined SPENGA?

 

I don’t even know where to start. I’m still learning a lot, but instead of being sad or just hanging around the house, I’m up and at it almost every single day now. 

 

How has the community at SPENGA helped you succeed?

 

This part is priceless. From the start I could tell that absolutely no one was being judgmental or worrying about what I was doing. Beyond feeling comfortable, the outings and girls nights really allow us all to talk about where we come from, our goals, things that we feel are holding us back, and the ability to level with others that way and gain knowledge from them is amazing. 

 

Where were you on your fitness journey before SPENGA?

 

Nowhere! I was bouncing around, trying every free class in town. If they advertised a free first session, I was there. I was just searching for the right fit and something I knew I could stick with. 

 

Why would you recommend SPENGA to a friend?

 

It’s just doable! Thinking about doing an hour straight of something, or spending two hours roaming a gym not sure if you’re even doing the right things isn’t where it’s at guys! Join a place where you’re constantly switching things up, and have bomb instructors to help you every step of the way. 

 

Who is your favorite instructor and why?

 

This is a tough one! I think each instructor has their own strengths, but Marissa has to be my favorite. She taught my very first class, and I have probably attended more of her sessions. She is guaranteed to have a great playlist, be a bit goofy, and just has all around great vibes. I never fail to crack a smile or two when she’s around.
